Phantom containing 16 tungsten, ball-bearing-like spheres (each 4 mm diameter) arranged in a precisely known geometry. The phantom is used to calibrate the kV and MV imager geometry so that the MV isocenter always projects to exact center of the acquired images. See also phantom; isocal phantom.
